500 Hours of Bathymetric Survey

XOCEAN has had a busy start to 2019 completing over 500 hours of bathymetric survey in the UK to IHO S-44 Order 1a requirements.

Throughout the survey, XOCEAN’s XO-450 USV was monitored and controlled via an over-the-horizon satellite internet connection 24/7 by a team of trained USV Pilots in our Operations Centre in Ireland.

“We’re delighted to have completed over 500 hours of survey already in 2019. Our platform has proven it provides a safe, reliable and economic way to map the seabed over extended durations” said James Ives, CEO, XOCEAN.
